About STOP Motion
STOP Motion is a collection of original jazz songs by Cassandra Oscar that explores the rich world in between movement and stillness where doubt, patience, enlightenment and impatience can all reside.
The 9 tracks traverse a rich musical landscape. Drawing on both Latin and pop influences, they move from soulful blues to swinging jazz, and include a distinctive spoken-word piece, culminating in a show-stopping finale featuring Hammond organ.
STOP Motion has been carefully crafted from start to finish as a cohesive jazz album, designed to resonate with listeners across generations and cultural backgrounds.
