Cassandra has been immersed in music from a young age, drawn to the way it speaks directly to the soul. With an unwavering passion for songwriting, she has dedicated herself to mastering the many languages of music, honing her craft across various instruments including piano, guitar, drums, and vocals, as well as delving into music production, and composition at university.

She is a member of the Australian Guild of Screen Composers and I Heart Songwriting Club, and has an extensive network of contacts in the creative industries.

Her commitment to the art of songwriting is profound. Writing music on a weekly basis, Cassandra has built a catalog of over 100 original compositions in recent years, each one a reflection of her creative journey. But it was at a friend’s birthday party that she first realized the unique gift she possessed for turning moments and emotions into music. 

“I’ve got a guitar in the car—tell me your thoughts about Kate, and I’ll turn it into a song for her birthday,” she said to a group of friends. In awe, they shared their thoughts, and within moments, Cassandra composed a heartfelt song that was later performed for the birthday girl. As one friend put it, “Wow, it’s actually really good!”

Since that moment, Cassandra has worked with couples to create personalised wedding songs, also performing them at receptions, and has crafted countless songs that capture the essence of special moments. Her work spans a diverse range of genres, from classical pieces like ‘Lady and Gentleman‘, which pairs orchestral composition with cinematic storytelling, to the vibrant sound of world music, folk, acoustic and even spoken-word!
